Beauty from Ashes is a six week course about taking anxiety, frustration and shame and exchanging them for the gifts that God offers: faith, gratitude and extravagant love.

Anxiety
In this workshop, we explore our understanding of anxiety, some of the beliefs we hold on to and the choices we have to step into a life of faith in God's adoring love for us.
Stress and anxiety have become accepted norms in our society. God never intended for us to live from a posture of fear. It is possible to live a life free from anxiety!

Body Image
In this workshop we learn new strategies to look at our bodies through a new set of eyes, and develop a healthy expression of ourselves through what we wear.
There is so much more to us than how we look. In this workshop we learn to not only accept ourselves and our bodies, but also help separate the true thoughts about our bodies from false ones fueled by our misunderstood emotions.
We focus on your personal and unique coloring, body shape and personality.

Independently Dependent
Is the goal really independence?
In this workshop, we take a deeper look at freedom versus authority, confidence versus arrogance, and anxiety in the face of pride. We seek to find our rightful place before our Mighty Creator.

Faith, Hope & Love
How do we define faith? What does it look like to follow God without our own form of superstition? Who do we put our hope in? How do we let go of the control?
Here we learn how to trust God with our needs. True faith and hope enable us to love well.

Mothers and Daughters
Mothers and daughters have a unique relationship. This workshop seeks to begin the conversation about identity, belief systems, values and emotions. We can learn from each other and discover wonderful truths in this beautiful, sometimes stressful God-given relationship.
