ABOUT ME

I am passionate about helping people to understand and name their emotions, to identify and process their thinking patterns and then discover the choices they have in their own journeys towards emotional, relational and spiritual health.

I believe that it is important for us to own our stories, share them and learn from our mistakes and successes.

Our brokenness does not define us.

Walking in intimacy with God opens our eyes to our true selves and the gifts that He has placed inside of us.

He shows us where we belong and what we were created for.

SOME OF MY BACKGROUND:

I was born and raised in South Africa, then lived in London for nine years.

In 2012, we moved to the USA and now reside in Alpharetta, GA.

I worked as an Occupational Therapist specializing in mental health, eating disorders, and addictions. I studied theology in South Africa and am currently working towards a Masters degree in Theology through Dallas Theological Seminary.

My work has included helping individuals to overcome their negative body image and eating issues.

I married my husband, Duane, in September 2000. We have two children —- Samantha and Jon.

I love talking about faith, relationships, community and our journey of self-discovery.

I love reading and teaching the Bible and sharing the healing that God has brought to me.

I strive to live an authentic, God-empowered, victorious life and I want to share that with others.
